The distances are from a variety of skilled players using the 6-iron from various manufacturers and models. In the test, Burner 2.0 out-performed the second place club–Callaway X-24 Hot by 3.5 yards, and the lowest placing club (13th) by 12.1 yards. The competition included 5 clubs from Callaway, 4 from Ping, 1 from Nike, and 2 from Titleist. More Information About Burner 2.0 New Features Burner 2.0 claims to be the top-selling iron based on GolfDataTech's cumulative sales figures from June 2009. In this update of the club, all of the features of the Burner 2.0 were refined towards achieving consistently long distance. This includes: • the thinner face, • the change in loft and shaft length over the series to achieve distance gaps that are "perfect," • a sound system and multi-layer badge to produce a feel that matches the iron power, • weight distribution unique to each iron for best performance of that particular iron, • redesigned shapes, suited to the unique needs of each club, • repositioning of the Inverted Cone to match the revised face, • a reshaped sole to limit ground resistance, and • a unique kick-point, due to reassessment of where the flex point in the shaft of each club should be.
