TaylorMade R11 TaylorMade R11 Woods- TaylorMade R11 woods are the newest TaylorMade woods. Again TaylorMade is making some of the best golf clubs. This article is about both the TaylorMade R11 drivers and TaylorMade R11 fairway woods. TaylorMade R11 Woods!
TaylorMade Clubs TaylorMade R series has been focusing on distance and golfer control over adjustable components in the head. The Taylor Made R11 series is the latest development in Taylor Made golf clubs and has recently been launched. All the Taylor Made R11 woods feature a perhaps unprecedented level of adjustability in the golf club market. The awards are already starting for TaylorMade R11 as they have been named to the golf level Hot List by Golf Digest. TaylorMade R11 Drivers In addition to an aerodynamic shape that aims to promote faster clubhead speed and longer drives than the R9, the R11 Drivers feature adjustable loft, made possible by Flight Control Technology (FCT); adjustable face angle, enabled by an Adjustable Sole Plate (ASP); and adjustment of the CG location due to Movable Weight Technology (MWT). Overall, this three-part adjustment capability is referred to as '3D tuning.' The launch angle can be increased or decreased, the face angle can be set to open, closed, or neutral, and the toe and heel weights can be adjusted, with heavier weight in the heel and lighter in the toe to promote a draw and heavier in the toe and lighter in the heel for a fade. The drivers are available in both left-handed and right-handed models and in both 9-inch and 10.5-inch loft models. The head volume of each is 440 cc, the club length is 45.75 inches, and the club swing weight is D4. They are available with two shafts: the Fujikura Blur 60 and the Fujikura Blur 65, each of which has a variety of flexes available. TaylorMade R11 Fairway Woods The Fairway Woods feature the same adjustment capabilities in the areas of loft, face angle, and weight as the drivers. The club models are T3, 3, 4, 5, and 7, but of these, only 3 and 5 are available in a left-handed model. The loft increases with an increase in the model number, with the lofts being 14 inches, 15.5 inches, 17 inches, 18 inches, and 22 inches, respectively. The lie angle for the T3 and the 3 is 57.5, while the rest are 58. The head volume of the T3 and 3 is 155 cc, while the others are 135cc. The same division results with the T3 and 3 having a club length of 43 inches, while the others are 42.5 inches in length, but they all have a weight of D4. The two shafts available are Fujikura Blur 70 and Fujikura Blur F3, each of which provides flex choices. Comparisons Neither the R11 Fairway Woods nor the R11 Drivers show up in the TaylorMade comparison charts at this time because of how new they are, but given the appearance of R7 and R9 clubs in both charts, one can expect both that the R11 are a continuation of the earlier R series as well as an improvement on them. With all the changes that Taylor Made golf has made the improvement is a given! Head to your local golf equipment store and find out why the Taylor Made R11 woods are some of the best golf clubs you can find! Related Article: TaylorMade Burner 2.0 Irons >> |
