IDEA Black CB2 Irons in Context

The Tech V3 Hybrid irons are offered in two set options: all hybrid (4-iron through 9-iron, pitching wedge and gap wedge) or hybrids for the 4-iron through the 7-iron and forged short irons (8-iron, 9-iron, and the two wedges). The a7 is a hybrid set that has appeared both on the PGA Tour and at the U.S. Open, and includes 3-iron through 9-iron and pitching wedge. The Pro Black clubs comes either as Muscle-Back (MB) or CB1. The MB set has 3-iron through 9-iron and pitching wedge: the CB1 set has 4-iron through 9-iron and both pitching wedge and gap wedge. Then there's the Black CB2 irons.

IDEA Black CB2 Irons Technology

With a choice of high performance steel (Steel KBS Tour 90) or graphite (matrix Studio 84) shafts, the Idea Black CB2 Irons use materials and construction to optimize feel and sound. The forged carbon steel club head and a cavity designed for vibration absorption contribute to this.

There is dual-perimeter weighting to lower the center of gravity and increases forgiveness, and the four-way cambered, mid-width sole is engineered for reduced turf interaction. The grooves are in compliance with the 2010 United States Golf Association (USGA) competition requirements, as implemented in the August 5, 2008 notice to manufacturers.
