GrayHawk Golf Club GrayHawk Golf Club- One of the best golf courses in Arizona is GrayHawk Golf Club. GrayHawk Golf Club has been the home to several PGA tournaments. Featuring two 18 hole courses, GrayHawk Golf Club is worth playing! Here is a GrayHawk Golf Club review! Best Golf Equipment Reviews usually waits to the end of our golf course reviews to give our personal feelings on the golf courses, but with the GrayHawk Golf Club we want to do it now! We absolutely love the GrayHawk golf courses. We have played them several times and enjoyed them on every occasion. They are always in great shape and have some amazing golf views. While both GrayHawk golf courses can be challenging, they are designed for all levels of golfers. Considered to be a traditional desert golf course, you can get rewarded for your good play or have some tough holes if you aren't swinging good. For the average golfer who hasn't played GrayHawk Golf Club you probably recognize the name from the Frys.com annual PGA tournament. In addition the GrayHawk Golf Club has at least seven other major golf tournaments. The GrayHawk Golf Club has been award many awards that include best golf shops and must play golf courses. The first golf course to open up at the GrayHawk Golf Club was the Talon golf course in 1995. The second golf course at the GrayHawk Golf Club was the Raptor and it was opened to the public in 1995. GrayHawk Golf Club- TalonThe Talon golf course was designed by David Graham and Gary Panks. The Talon golf course features amazing views of the desert and has lush green fairways. A lot of desert golf courses look like they were just plunked down in the middle of the desert, but the Talon golf course incorporates all the desert features to make it look natural. A little bit tighter than the Raptor, accuracy is a must at the Talon.
GrayHawk Golf Club- RaptorThe Raptor golf course was designed by the famous Tom Fazio. Similar in sense as the Talon golf course, the Raptor golf course truly incorporates the desert features into all 18 holes. The Raptor features wider fairways but more bunkers than the Talon course. One thing that Fazio did when he was designing the Raptor golf course was not use too many water features. In fact there are only two water features that affect three golf holes.
